MicroNeedling
This lovely, pain free treatment is used to boost the skin’s natural collagen and elastin production to leave your complexion smoother, radiant and fresh. Sam will use a special device with micro needles to puncture the skin which stimulates the cell and collagen production. MicroNeedling can also help to reduce acne scarring, pigmentation marks from the sun or acne and gives a fresher look. This treatment can be used as part of a protocol and alongside the medical skin care range of Tebiskin also available within the clinic to help with various skin concerns such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation and ageing skin.

Is MicroNeedling Painful?
No, MicroNeedling should not be painful, in fact most patients find it a very relaxing treatment. Sam will apply a layer of anaesthetic numbing cream to your skin prior to the procedure so you wont feel any pain at all. You will feel the vibrations of the pen but this will not be painful. The numbing cream will wear off after an hour or so.
How long will the MicroNeedling treatment take?
Your appointment will last approx 45- 60 minutes.
Is there any reason why I could not have the MicroNeedling treatment?
You will not be able to have this treatment if you have an active cold sore or if you are currently on or have taken prescribed acne medication such as Roacutane in the last 6 months. This treatment is not suitable if you take anticoagulants, oral retinoids or corticosteroids. Sam can discuss this with you at your consultation.
