What is Profhilo?

Profhilo is a unique, award winning, injectable hyaluronic acid for treating skin laxity. This wonderful treatment is not only amazing at boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue.

Where is Profhilo used?

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity. The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages

Is the treatment/procedure painful?

Most patients report a slight stinging sensation during the injections although if you prefer, an anaesthetic cream can be applied prior to the treatment.

When will I see results?

Although some improvement to the skin maybe seen shortly after the first treatment, the best results have been reported just 4 weeks following the second treatment.

How long will it last?

Although results may vary from patient to patient, most patients require a maintenance dose every 6 month following the initial treatment to maintain and prolong the effects of profhilo.

Are there any side effects?

You may experience slight tenderness, swelling and redness following this procedure. Some patients do experience some bruising and this is variable from one patient to another.
